“Success is not final, failure is not final; it is the courage to continue that counts.”

Neophyes,

This week will be long so I will be brief. I hope you had a chance to reevaluate your associate membership in Pi Kappa Phi. I also hope you have come back from your resting period with a renewed sense of purpose and determination for you will need these to truly succeed in the coming weeks.

There are hopes that you did well tonight in facing the brotherhood and answering all of their questions. The question and answer session was vital for the brotherhood to scrutinize and understand more about you and ask questions that will allow them to make informed decisions on whether or not you deserve to be a brother of Pi Kappa Phi.

So far, you have done very well in obtaining all of the gifts that have been asked of you, and for that the brotherhood is thankful. You will need to do many things in the upcoming weeks, but currently, you do not need to obtain any more tangible gifts.

Tomorrow, you will be in shirt, coat, tie, khakis, and associate membership pin. You will meet at the Pi Kappa Phi house at xxxx Post Meridian. You will present the activity that your class has developed over the associate membership time. Make sure it is done well and is significant to every brother. Your presentation will be judged.

Do not lose heart. Continue to stay on the difficult path for you will be rewarded for your efforts. Keep this sheet of paper close to your heart for it will be the light on this very dark path.
